New management at GREIF-VELOX
Management change at the top of the packaging machine manufacturer Greif-Velox from Lübeck: Since February 1, 2024, the previous Director of Sales & Marketing, Sebastian Pohl, has joined the management team with Thorsten Köll. The previous CEO, Ralf Drews, is leaving the company.
“We are pleased to be able to focus even more closely as a team on the requirements of the market and our customers,” say the two managing directors. “We are confidently building on the successes of the past few years and are moving the company forward with strategic thinking and a commitment to excellence and innovation.” With its international expansion course, Greif-Velox was recently able to further expand its market position in the area of liquid and powder filling. Especially in the area of bagging ultra-light powders, such as carbon black, it was able to consolidate its global market leadership with the “VeloVac” vacuum system. “Our goal is to convince even more customers of the massive advantages of our technology in terms of efficiency and sustainability,” says the new management team.
Consistent internationalization and growth strategy
Thorsten Köll has been part of the management of Greif-Velox Maschinenfabrik since 2019 and previously managed the fortunes of Gabler Maschinenbau GmbH. Sebastian Pohl was appointed to Greif-Velox in 2020 as sales manager from the Dutch lifting and transport specialist Mammoet. Over the past four years, the 39-year-old has consistently pushed forward the company's internationalization and growth strategy with the development of customer-oriented solutions as Director Sales & Marketing.
Transformation to become a trendsetter in the industry
“We would like to thank Ralf Drews for his great commitment over the past few years,” says Sebastian Pohl. “With his actions, he has enabled Greif-Velox Maschinenfabrik to become a medium-sized company independent and thus transform itself into a trendsetter in the industry.”< /p>
