Greif-Velox strengthens its presence on the Eastern European market
Cooperation with the Czech production and sales company Sopack
Greif-Velox is further expanding its sales network in Europe: In a strategic partnership with Sopack s.r.o., the packaging machine manufacturer and the Czech sales and production company are using synergy effects to position Greif-Velox's innovations on the Czech, Slovakian, Polish and Hungarian markets.
Sopack, based in Pardubice, is now distributing the Greif-Velox BVPV 4.40 air packer and the vacuum packers of the "VeloVac" family, which enable clean and efficient bagging of ultra-light powders.
Network meets innovative machine technology
For Greif-Velox, the partnership is a further step in the company's consistent internationalization strategy. To date, the company has supplied customers in 89 countries worldwide. "In Sopack, we have found the perfect partner for market expansion in Eastern Europe," says Sebastian Pohl, Director Sales & Marketing at Greif-Velox. "The young, fast-growing Czech company has exactly the network and regional expertise we need to bring our innovative machine technology and know-how to the right customer."
Sopack: "Greif-Velox has an excellent reputation worldwide"
Sopack is also very pleased about the cooperation: "By joining forces, we can support our customers and offer them the best possible solutions for bag filling," says Tomas Zadina, owner of Sopack. "Greif-Velox has an excellent reputation worldwide and we are proud to become their partner in the region."
Competitive advantages for customers
Founded in 2014 in the Czech Republic, the sales and production company Sopack specializes primarily in the stabilization and fixation of goods and containers as well as the thermoregulation of pallet units and pallets in containers. It supplies customers in more than 20 countries around the world. With the Greif-Velox bagging systems, it is expanding its portfolio to provide customers with further competitive advantages. "With the Greif-Velox systems, especially the BVPV and VeloVac, we offer our customers solutions that allow them to flexibly design their production processes," says Sopack Managing Director Karel Sodomka. "Bagging should never be their 'bottleneck', but a technological innovation that reliably supports and complements the entire production process."
The Greif-Velox BVPV high-speed air packer
The BVPV 4.40 air packer from Greif-Velox can be flexibly adapted to individual production requirements: It can bag 4 to 40 kilogram bags. Its output is up to 400 bags per hour. It can also be supplemented with additional spouts so that an output of up to 1,600 bags per hour is possible.
The vacuum packers of the VeloVac family
With the vacuum packers in the VeloVac family, ultra-light powders such as carbon black or silica can be bagged dust-free, cleanly and efficiently. This saves users up to 75 percent of storage and logistics costs as well as high cleaning costs.
